Hanging out with grandparents

Addison got to hang out with the grandparent this weekend!! Smittie is going on a long trip soon so we had to had a visit before he left.And really any excuse to see my mom and get grandparent cuddles is worth it.

This is how most of our car trips end up after about 30 minutes. 

We wanted to go visit my grandma Lena, I used to go and see her every weekend when I was a kid. We saw other family while we were there too. My aunt Wenda Mae and Uncle Bob too.

She loved the beds in the hotel because she could pull herself up and stand. and then of course try and eat it

Addie can sit in a high chair now when we go out to eat, its so mice to not have to hold her all the time

There was an awesome swing outside of our hotel room and we took some very cute pictures.  It had some amazing detail and was beautiful.

Ok, so we went to this restaurant in Panguitch and they had these massive cinnamon rolls, for 4 dollars, seriously they are amazing!!! They are the size of a huge plate and all four of us shared it and still didnt finish one. I'm thinking of going on another road trip just to get one :)

What a great weekend with some of my most favorite people. Addison is so blessed to have such wonderful influences and examples of love in her life. Cant wait until we are all together again at Christmas :) 

7 Months Old!

Addison is 7 months old! I feel like in the last month I have seen her grow in so many new ways, every month she learns new things but she is just minutes away from walking and I can't believe it! Her personality is so fun and she just such a happy child. I have loved watching her grow and being just beautiful.

7 Month Milestones:

-can stand up
-pulls herself up to stand
-walks around with assistance
-loves ice cream
-loves trying new foods
-HATES bananas
-most of her clothes are size 9 months, size 3 diapers
-loves playing video games with dad
-still loves laughing and giggling
-still the most beautiful baby ever

Swinging at the Park

We took little miss Addie to the park today by our house and did a little swinging. I was nervous that she is still a little too small but she didnt have a single problem with it. She LOVED it!!

Adam did some pushing too. The swing was pretty low so we ended up just sitting in front of her and it was way more fun just being able to giggle at her and push her at the same time. 

So if you want to hang out with us on the weekends now, we will most likely be at this park now :) 

Crawling, Standing, and Jungle Gyming

I was tempted to preface this post with a warning about how long its going to be and how it will be filled with pictures but then I thought to myself, you probably wouldn't even be looking at this if you didnt want to see lots of adorably cute pictures of Addie so no warning, just enjoy!! 

Addison this week has been outragously cute and getting so big. She has been doing so many big girl things and I'm just blow away on a daily basis how much she does now. 

1st thing that is new, we have now switched sides of her tub, she is now on the sitting straight up side rather than the slanted newborn side. She can sit up unsupported now so bathtime is much more adventurous. She is constantly trying to just climb out the tub, not because she doesnt like a bath, its because she just wants to move all the time. 

2nd New Thing: She can now pull herself up to standing. She uses whatever is around her to help get her up and then she can stand for about a minute before tumbling down.

3rd new thing: She loves climbing. She will climb on blankets, pillows, and us of course. This black blanket folded up has been a really fun toy this week. 

 And then crawling all over moms legs. 

She loves laughing and squealing lately. Not sure what this face was about but she was very concerned/excited.

How cute is this little person?? Addie is doing much lately and growing up so fast!! She continues to just be the most wonderful little baby and I am so grateful for her. 

Addison's 6 month check-up

We had our 6 month check up and Addison did great! She is 16.7 pounds and 25 inches tall.

She did great, didn't like her shots too much but overall is such a sweet and happy girl. Addie continues to be the best part of our lives and we love her so much!
