We had to go to Vegas this last week to be there for Grandpa Smittie. He was having surgery and the best medicine is Addison :) She did lots of dancing with grandma, crawling everywhere, continuously checking on grandpa in his room, and swinging with Oma.

This was basically how she was all week, crawling like mad down a hallway and chasing after us everywhere we went.

How beautiful is she? I can't get over it sometimes. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and such a wonderful baby to love as well :) 

8 Months Old!

Addison is unbelievably 8 months old now! I can't believe how much she is moving around, talking (babbling), giggling, and loving everyone around her. Some days I can't believe its only 8 months, she feels so much older sometimes.

8 Month Milestones:

-Finally got a tooth!!
-can stand up on her own without help, only for about 15 seconds
-tries to walk but tumbles, I really think she will be walking by next month
-loves giggling
-loves eating solid food
-wearing 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers still
-can climb up stairs at day care
-maybe likes bananas...
-loves talking to all her grandparents on Skype
-loves sesame street and music
-still the most amazing baby ever

We love her so much!! 

Halloween!

Addie had her first Halloween and it was so fun. I bought a Halloween Kitten costume probably a month ago, I was a tad excited. I have been so excited for her to wear it. We went to a friends halloween party and then went to New Haven for their annual Halloween carnival.

Addie Lately

These are just some pictures from the last couple of weeks and some cute Addie moments. 

Lately, someone likes to hold on to my shorts when I am walking around and thinks she can walk too.

So the other day she was playing in her crib while we were cleaning her room and I come back in and she has made herself a little fort with all of her stuffed animals and her boppy

So we have been introducing her to a sippy cup over the last couple of weeks. She is still learning how to use it but getting the hang of it more and more each time. You can see the evolution in the pictures. 

We sure do love this happy little girl. Its hard to imagine how big she has gotten and how much she has grown! 

Halloween Fun

I saw this idea a long time ago and thought to myself, I can't imagine ever being able to do this or having the time, or actually getting my child to sit in a pumpkin. But after hunting through our local grocery stores little pumpkin area, I was hunting and climbing over pumpkins trying to find the perfect one, and I did. It was the perfect size, and huge. I was worried this little 'project' of mine was going to cost an arm and leg because this pumpkin would be expensive, I ended up getting a deal because the pumpkin was damaged in the back (but you cant see it at all in the pictures :) Kendra helped set stuff up and we were ready to try it. Addie did a great job!! She was smiley and happy and we got so many amazing pictures

So the ones I saw on Pinterest were naked babies, I got some really cute shots like that but she started getting cold so we switched out.

At first she was standing because I couldnt figure out how to get her little bum to sit down
