Spring Vacation

For spring break this year we headed down to Las Vegas for a bit of time with the grandparents, and to go to a wedding. Addie did really well on the trip down, she slept most of the way. 

Around Cedar City she did wake up so we took a little break at a local park in the back of a church that let her run around.

We also found out that she loves using chalk and writing on the ground.

Her favorite thing while we were there was to eat out of a pouch while playing with her chalk.

Once we got to Vegas, Grandma and Grandpa had some belated Addie birthday presents that she loved playing with.

She even got a new Elmo that hugs her when she hugs him! She loves walking around with Elmo and saying his name over and over again.

Grandpa even fixed up the train in his backyard. She loved riding on it.

They even had an even smaller train that Addison could ride all on her own. It was a little scary for her at first, but after a lap or two she really started to love it. 

Addison spent a lot of time outside sitting with Grandma and Grandpa and playing with them inside.  

One of Addison's favorite toys was this pink car that Grandma and Grandpa would push her around on. She would giggle as they pushed her around especially while doing wheelies.

12 month doctor's appointment

We took Addison for her 12 month appointment, I can't believe how old she is now and how big she is. She wasnt feeling well during this appointment, and you can tell by her lack of smiling or even wanting to look at the camera. 

Her strawberry birthmark is looking lighter but still about the same size

12 Months!!

We made it! Our beautiful little girl in one! She has grown and changed so incredibly much and it feels like it has just flown by. On one hand we feel like she has always been with us and we can't remember a time when she wasn't in our lives, and then we just feel like this last year was so fast and quick. Just reminds me to focus on spending more time together as a family and continue to cherish all those beautiful moments. 

12 Month Milestones: 

-loves peek-a-boo like all the time, everyday

-now has 4 teeth 

-will wear shoes now and walk with them instead of just standing still and waiting for us to take them off

-talks all the time- says duck, book, mama, and cookie clearly but then babbles and uses half words the rest of the time

-still sleeping like a big girl

-loves dancing and listening to music 

-size 4 diapers, and can fit into 18 month clothes 

-will try all different kinds of food 

-will shove her pacifier in her eye when she is sleepy

-still the most wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, adorable, smart, and delightful baby ever!!
