Vegas Vacation

This last week was my summer break, this is the only time of year I wish I was a public school teacher. I want summer break! But we still made the most of the week we had. Addison, Adam, and myself went down to Las Vegas to visit the grandparents. We were able to takes lots and lots of pictures. Addison giggled tons and rolled over for the first time! She has always loved showing off for her grandparents. Even before she was born, the first time she ever kicked hard enough for someone else to feel was with my mom at Thanksgiving. Some of the activities from the week were swimming at Oma's and grandpa's, taking pictures with my mom and Addison photo shoot, shopping with grandma, rolling over, spending lots of time with her Oma and being great in the car both down and back. We love this little girl!

This was right after she rolled over :)

She also got a new toy/chewy. We still love Mr. Elephante, but now we have her sunshine. Its the softest blanket for her to chew on.
after a particularly fussy sacrament meeting

it was hard to get a picture of 2 people and one little person all looking at the camera at the same time but we tried.

Addison just loves talking with grandpa Smittie. He does tell some pretty great stories :)

just some picture fun.

Lots of cuddles and love.

All packed up and ready to go home :) there was lots of stuff I didn't get pictures of, but next time I will remember to take lots more. I hope she can look back on these one day and just see how much she is loved by her family. It was a wonderful trip and we wish we could have stayed longer.
Once I get pictures of Addison and Oma I will be sure to add those :)
Cant wait to see everyone in July!!

3 Months!!!

This has been 3 of the most amazing months with Addison. She is such a beautiful little person. We can't wait for her to start talking because we just know she has so many things to say. Our last month has been full of firsts, seeing grandparents, meeting cousins, swimming, birthday parties, and lots of new tricks.

3 Month Milestones:

-still sleeping through the night :)
-now learning how to sleep on her back and not in her podster
-took her first tumble
-has a favorite toy, Mr. Elephante :)
-will have giggle fits so hard she falls over
-growing out of size 1 diapers
-can kick over her activity gym
-loves anyone playing with her feet
-still loves the bath and the car
-loves music and being read to
-is still the most beautiful baby ever

She still sticks her tongue out :)

Swimming!

OK well not real swimming but it was in an actually pool. Last weekend I was so teased with the little pool and the splash pad that today we wanted to go swimming at the Pleasant Grove pool. I forgot how nice that pool is. So much room and lots of grass areas so I don't feel crowded. This pool also has a great wading and sitting area so its perfect for just getting some sun and holding Addison. And its a got a pretty good view too.

Ready to go!

She was nervous of the water but she splashed around in it for about 20 minutes, it was a tad chilly but she didn't cry or fuss :)

Getting warm with dad

She seriously loves this elephant blanket

Thank you Tiffany for my cute swimsuit!

I love going places and doing fun things with Addison, she is like my new companion every where I go. Now I know how my mom felt and why I ended up going to so many cool places as a kid, she just liked to have me around, I feel the same way about Addison. And who wouldn't want this cute girl around :)

Blanket Eating Photoshoot

We are noticing now that anytime she has a blanket, it automatically goes in her mouth and she makes some of the cutest "eating a blanket faces" if there is such a thing. I never thought I would be one of the those moms who has to run and grab the camera every time she smiles but I can't help it. I want her to be able to look back and have these memories. And I know the grandparents love this :)

I love this face :)
