Grandma and Grandpa weekend

This weekend Addison was finally able to meet my Mom and Smitty, her grandma and grandpa. It was a wonderful weekend full of smiles and laughter. Addison just giggled up a storm with grandpa and loved being held by grandma. They both loved her so much and we can't wait to see them again June. Addison is so blessed to grow up with so many people in her life that love her.

They both love her so much, and we love them. 

I just get so excited and happy thinking about our future with Addison and so many amazing memories she is going to make with the people we love the most. My mom is one of the most important people in my life and I wouldn't be here if weren't for her and I just want Addison to make amazing memories with her too. Smitty is the kindest man with the biggest heart and I hope she learns those same qualities for him. We love you both and miss you already!! See you in June :)

First day back at work

It had to happen sooner of later, going back to work. It wasn't super emotional and I didn't freak out. I was pretty proud of myself. I think its because I know the person who is spending the day with her really loves her and is afriend of mine. She is a wonderful woman who has raised so many amazing kids including her own daughter who I love. The best part was that she sent me pictures of Addison all day. It was so nice to see her and know what she is was doing. I loved feeling great at work but seeing Addison when I got off was even better. I mean who wouldnt want to come home to this face...

Play Time

I got Addison this wonderful playtime gym and she LOVES it!! She has been laying under it practically anytime she was awake today. She makes cute little noises when she hits the toys and smiles. I love her smile so so much. Im excited for the new camera we bought, I didnt use them with these pictures but it takes them so much faster so hopefully I can actually get a picture of her smiling

Addison's Baby Blessing

Today we were able to bless Addison. It was such a special experience. Adam loves her so much and everyone could tell and hear it through her blessing. I didn't think I would get emotional but I cried through the whole thing. I felt so blessed to have Adam as my husband and her father. Addison is just such a special girl and I love being able to share her with our family and friends. We felt so blessed to have so many of our friends come as well as Adam's parents.

I love all the men that were able to be apart of her blessing. I look up to all of them in one way or another and value their priesthood. I feel so blessed that Addison can be apart of their lives.  Special note to the Crop's who aren't pictured here but came to support and be apart of her blessing, I love you guys so much!! and thanks to aunt Kendra for taking so many pictures for me :)

Our wonderful friends Karl and Allie and their super precious daughter Mirah. I love these people and can't wait for when Addison can play with Mirah :)

George and Shari are like a second set of parents to us. George did so much for our family when we first were married and he is like a father to me and Shari is literally the sweetest woman on the planet.

Quote of the day

Yesterday we decided to do a little shopping at a new mall we hadn't been to yet. It was nice to go out and do something as a family and Addison did a great job. I went shopping with the intent to help rebuild my wardrobe a bit but we just ended up spending most of the money and time shopping at stores for Addison. Adam asked how this turned into a shopping trip for her, I then told him every trip from now on will be for her, duh :)

But the quote of the day came from when I was getting her out of the car, I said, "Lets go stinker butt," and Adam did not agree with that statement.
He quickly responded with, "No, she is not a stinker butt, she farts rainbows and poops butterflies." And he said it with such conviction and now I can't call her that anymore.

We feel so blessed to have this sweet little girl in our lives.

 

One Month Old!

Addison is one month old today. This month has just flown by. Adam and I constantly look at each other and we can't believe this is our lives now. We feel so blessed to have her. We both feel like our lives have so much purpose and so much more love.

One Month Milestones
- Survived! haha
- can hold her head up really well
- loves to cuddle
- has a very distinct poop face
- loves car rides
- her hands are always cold, she refuses to keep them under blankets
- loves bath time
- will stretch for about 10 minutes before she is fully awake, and sometimes falls back asleep before she is done
- the most beautiful baby we have ever seen

Her tongue is always out. I kind of love it :)

 

We attempted to put a stuffed animal with her, it was a bit tricky. Also, she is not a fan of bows, immediately unhappy when that thing went on her head.
