Hanging out

On Thursday it was just crazy hot and we wanted to go swimming. We love our local pool, its so convenient and so much less stress than the Seven Peaks. I LOVE this swimsuit my mom got her. 

I love this little girl so much!

Aunt Kendra was trying to get some good shots. She just wanted to eat her hands. 

 She swam for about 45 minutes, and when I say swam I mean sat in my arms and I walked around in the pool. She splashed and didnt fuss once. I am so hoping she loves water when she gets older. With two parents that are swimmers, it would break our hearts if she didnt love water.

I changed her and she promptly fell asleep. She has been much better with naps, we are hoping to get a normal nap schedule soon. 

ok This is what happens when Aunt Kendra watches Addison.We went over to her place last night to hang out and make some cupcakes and she has this sunshine soft toy that she likes to chew on, Addison not Kendra, and Kendra goes and plops it on her head. Pictures follow. Addison didnt even mind, she just had some funny facial expressions

Then she looked at me for help. I love how fun she is. We dont torture her for our own amusement, I swear. 

Then last night she was pretty hungry and just snatched the bottle right out of my hands, she completely held it all on her own. I want her to grow up so much but at the same time I think to myself, when did I get this giant baby!? How can she do so much already?? 

Birthdays, Snowcones, and Baby Yoga

Our wonderful friend Allie had a birthday this week and we were invited to her celebration. We went to an Indian restaurant, my first time and I actually liked it! Addison did great at the restaurant but the best part was after...snowcones! and I'm not talking just any old snowcone, these are the most amazing and largest snowcones I have ever seen.

Its called the Big Kahuna, and its as big as Addison!

Happy Birthday Allie! I swear I'm not in pain here, just really excited for snowcones! 

So last week Addison had a great fascination with her little feet. Now they have made their way into her mouth and she couldnt be happier. But we noticed she was doing some yoga poses with her feet. Im not a yoga person but baby yoga is pretty cute 

This week in review

Addison has now discovered her feet. Pretty much anytime she doesn't have something in her hands, she is grabbing her feet. Its pretty amazing to watch her development. She is able to grab things longer and hold on pretty tight.

I now know why most of my mom friends end up cutting their hair. These wonderful photos show her grabbing onto my hair for dear life and laughing right in my face about it. I was trying to cuddle, she just wanted to rip my hair out.

She doesnt super love tummy time but one way we can get her to do it is if she laying on one of us. She is pinning down Adam with cuteness. Thats what he says anyway.

We still love bath time, and i just can't help myself sometimes!

This weekends adventure was going to our local water park, Seven Peaks. This isnt the greatest water park in the world but it sure has some great views. The mountains, not the rather large man in my photo.  

 Slide-a-palooza 

Pretty sure this was Addison's favorite part. We did some swimming in the lazy river but there was a breeze in the morning that made it pretty cold when we got out and she was a bit cranky. Overall it was fun, we were able to go with our friends Rob and Kendra. They were a big help. She loves water, it just has to be a bit warmer. Adam and I both got loverly weird sunburns because we didnt apply the sunscreen evenly, he wouldn't let me take a picture of his shoulder. I could see finger outlines, it was pretty funny. Overall, great weekend with my little girl. 

I love this little girl. 

Happy Father's Day

It was our first Father's Day and it was pretty great. Went to church and Addison was very cute the entire time, even wearing her first cardigan :) It was so stinkin' cute! Adam even got cinnamon rolls at church. He smuggled me one, they were amazing. Nice relaxing day at home, lots of cuddles and love.

I also bought this cute onesie that said Happy Father's Day but she was more into trying to grab her toes then take a picture. So I think if you put all these together then you can actually get the entire onesie

3 Month Photo Shoot

Here are some of our pictures from Addison's photo shoot we were able to take with my mom :) I can't wait to get family pictures in July and then her one year cake smash is going to be so cute.
